WAHU opening this month in Spinningfields The Wahu brand will be the first of its kind in Manchester, with ‘design your own’ concept allowing customers to create their perfect meal. Opening times are 7 am to 10 pm Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 11 pm on Fridays, 10 am to 11 pm on Saturdays and 10 am to 10 pm on Sundays. Wahu caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the menu is structured in a way which allows customers to choose each aspect of their meal. Breakfast, for example, includes a choice of base (granola, muesli, bran flakes), extras (fruit or nuts) and topping such as honey or mango puree. For lunch the base is rice, salad, pasta or a wrap, then freshly cooked protein from the grill (chicken, beef, lamb, haloumi, salmon), extras (boiled egg, broccoli, cheese, nuts, slaw, potato) and dressing (Caesar, French, light lemon mayo, soy and citrus, mango chilli and lime) The dinner menu is similar to Lunch, this time round customers can choose a set meal with a rice, salad, pasta or wrap base, such as Thai chicken, teriyaki beef, Greek halloumi, fusilli salmon, firecracker chicken.
