WANT TO BECOME A NEXUS ELITE LICENSEE? This video demonstrates the course of fire for the Elite License qualification test. Once the student successfully passes this license, they are able to participate in our Elite drills held twice a week where both tactical based and competition based skills are explored and practiced. The basic skills include proper holster draw, shooting on the move, reloads, multi-positional shooting, and use of barricades. After these basic skills are mastered, we incorporate all aspects of advanced shooting including low light shooting, transitional drills, off hand manipulations, multiple weapon platforms, and more. We have a class specifically geared at teaching the skills necessary to pass this qualification and participate in Elite drills; however, anyone may attempt the qualification without taking the class. We qualify everyone regardless of prior experience or status, including law enforcement, military members, and even world class Olympic shooters like Gabby Franco as seen in this video. Please check our website for scheduled times for the qualifications, typically held at 7pm on the first and third Tuesday of every month.
