WARNING!! A VERY LONG READ :-) In this life, your choice of a career can adversely determine the future of your friends. I became a lawyer only yesterday and so far 90% of my friends have turned into potential criminals threatening to go about slapping people or breaking the law in all manner of ways with impunity (Lmao!) Just kidding folks. I think this is the right time to acknowledge, appreciate and thank all my wonderful friends for being the wind in my back driving my sail throughout these gruelling four years of my journey. I am grateful to everyone of you for your contribution to my passing out successfully as a lawyer. There were those who would read my comments on facebook, sense my mood and quickly text or call to offer words of comfort and encouragement. There were those who constantly kept my spirits up with interesting diversions whenever I became too stressed out. There were friends who put themselves out there for me and were at my beck and call even though I myself could barely spare a moment to stay in touch with them. They made all the effort in our friendship and never once complained, and I want you to know it meant the world to me. Ayeforo Bride, you are one of those and I am grateful. I still remember the day you came all the way from Tema to my room on campus just to bring me waakye.I love you girl. To my best friends Sefa Agbesi, Lilian Kyei and Francisca Darfour, words fail me. Sefa, you were not even in Ghana, but you fussed over me like a proud mama, always putting my wardrobe in order(with me resisting of course), making sure my finances were in order and calling to check up on me;kicking my lazy butt back into shape whenever my pace was slowing and mopping me off the floor when I was down. God bless you. Lilian, your prayer support and encouragement was priceless. You remembered my time table more than I even did myself. You prayed with me before and after every exam , you committed all my anxiety to God and assured me of his unfailing help and support. God bless you. Franka, you always had a huge vote of confidence in me and it kept me going because you believed in me. You were there with me during that painful period of my illness & you nursed me painstakingly back to health. The many trips you had to make to the hospital to check me in or bring me the stuff I needed, getting my laundry done and encouraging me to eat when I had almost given up and thought I was going to die. God bless you my dear. And to my very good friends & learned colleagues Nana Asorbo Coleman, Vida Kyei, Patricia Adusei, Sefakor Adzo Comfort Akpabla, Jane Tagbor, you guys are the best. Thanks, congrats and cheers! I cannot mention everyone of you, but I am super grateful for every little thought, every kind gesture and every fervent prayer sent my way. God bless you all!!
