WARNING: MY YAHOO EMAIL WAS HACKED!!! Sunday morning (the 16th of June) my Yahoo email account was briefly taken over by spammers. I have recovered control of this account and will not be using it to send emails for the rest of the month. If you get a YAHOO emails from me this month just discard them until July 1st. If you see ANY email from my wterickson@Yahoo account any time this month do not open it. The email will be spam, and is likely to contain a URL directing you to a malicious website. If you need to contact me use my Gmail account (wterickson@gmail) or FB. Many Yahoo email users have had their accounts pirated recently. I use LastPass to generate my passwords, thus, I find it hard to believe that the spammers randomly guessed my password. I suspect that they are exploiting a vulnerability with Yahoo that I am unaware of. Thus, until July 1st I am discontinuing use of Yahoo email to give them time to address this vulnerability. I have a different relationship with Yahoo than most of you. I conduct business through Yahoo so this is an extremely serious matter for me. I will be spending the remainder of today changing ALL of my passwords just in case. If you receive an email from me via yahoo opening it will not infect your computer. You computer may be infected if your anti-virus protection is NOT up to date and you click on the URL contained within that email.
