WARNING: this is a page supporting a ban on horse-drawn carriages. WE DO NOT SUFFER FOOLS GLADLY. We get know it all comments from people who have never set foot in NYC but feel they know the issue. We have addressed the fact that the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries has confirmed with their members that there are homes for all the horses - 186 as of last count - not 220 as the media likes to erroneously report. We have also told you MANY TIMES - that there is a huge turnover in the NYC carriage trade - about 71 horses fall off the rolls a year - many go on to the kill auctions. Why are you know it alls not concerned with what happens to the horses NOW? Heres why. You pretend to care about these horses but you do not. All you care about is that the City of NY will not shut this cash only parasitic business down - i.e. government interference. Go away. We know this issue like the back of our hand and will not get involved in a meaningless conversation with you. Do a search on our web site for answers. Not here. We will block you.
