WE ARE THE ONES WE BEEN WAITING FOR...... “One day, I pray, a kinder, wiser, more loving version of our present humanity will read the records of future anthropologists, the archives of our own future selves, that tell the Story of how the women and men of an emerging species courageously rose up in the second decade, twenty-first century, third millennium, to deliver themselves -- the ones we used to be -- from the great darkness which possessed and consumed us then. “One day, I pray, as our future selves sit together around a common fire, elders will recount those tales of noble and daring deeds to the children of our future, eyes alight with wonder: Tales of how humble mothers and fathers, students and artists, engineers, tree-planters and pathfinders lit by a fierce and fearless love, did what no mind thought we could do, broke through the threshold-guardian doubts to become the invincible hands-on healers we were born to be: The hero warriors who waged peace for a sacred planet, returning balance to the weather, water to the wells, reefs to the ocean, ice to the glaciers, warmth to the human heart. “One day, I pray, we will gather together around that inner fire to sing the praises, rejoice in gratitude, for what we did then, once upon a time, once upon a planet, when we became the ones who saved the Earth, restored the Trust, rewrote the script in that living Story waiting for us to turn it true. The rest, after all, is up to me and you...”
