WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” 1ST CORINTHIANS 6:16 Believers are the temple of God and have been made light in the Lord but unbelievers are in darkness; and what comfortable communion can we have together? As we both have opposite interest and design. There is the danger of being defiled by sins if we associate with unbelievers. Quoting from the book of EZEKIEL 37:27, Paul asserted that the church is the temple of the living God. Those who follow Christ are not known by a building; they are known as those in whom the Spirit of God lives. The church is not where believers go, it is who they are. God is always with His children Beloved, we are Gods people and He lives in us as His living temple. 1ST PETER 2:9 referred to us as a chosen generation, a holy nation, a peculiar people and a royal priesthood hence we should not associate with unbelievers. As the temple of God where God dwells, we need to abstain from anything that can contaminate us though we shouldnt isolate ourselves. We should be a strong influence in bringing unbelievers back to God. How does our behaviour reflect on the God we represent? I pray that God will give us the grace to resist every association that will make us compromise our faith and make God depart from us in Jesus name May we have a splendid Tuesday in HIS PRESENCE
