WE HAD JUST A LOVELY ceroc moment when ON HOLIDAY Special K thats our Kerry and Kieran (Brush up on your Spainish ) we expect a ferry with young Spanish people to dock at Kessingland on Monday. Had to pass a (DISCO HALL) as we went out in the evenings, a young good looking guy was trying to lure dancers to go into the hall, a bunch of 16-18 year olds all girls were trying to find out the type of Music and age of people in there. Sylvia was grabbed by one of the girls and thrust towards the young (doorman) he sort of did a Daddy/ Grandad dance with Sylvia just a sorta of Locamotion arm movement (we being of the older Generation) The Girls plainly did not want to go into the Disco if this was happening in there) I stepped in and said No No we don`t Dance like that we Dance like this, With no Music playing we went through 10 or dozen moves the the young man threw in a few wows the young ladies were giving out the Whoop; whoops( Anne style) they clapped the phones and cameras came out, as we walked off still no music, in my mind was the sound of Martha and the Vandelas (Dancing IN THE STREETS) with little Ceroc going on, it was a chance to blow the cobwebs away, how spooky but was just one of those Holiday Moments, The youngsters were clearly shocked we told the young man about Ceroc and they were ALLreally shocked when we said this is how people in UK dance when they are approching 70 years old. and we have friends older than us doing CEROC.( AND ALSO YOUNG PEOPLE) made us old codgers feel quite young (The Spainsh are a coming, light THE Beacons Kessingland Beach) lol with no Dancing reports from me for a couple of weeks just had to do a Ceroc Story, And well Done Jackie for doing some great posts when we were away.
