WE HAVE FATHER IN HEAVEN Doubtless you are our father, though Abraham may be ignorant of us, and Israel may not acknowledge us: you, O LORD, are our father, our redeemer; your name is from everlasting. (Isaiah 63:16) There are many reasons why we need a father, but one of the reasons why we need a father is because we need to bear his name: If the Father in heaven is your father, then you are anchor on the everlasting name of the Father. There is no way The LORD will remain your Father, and your name is not in the Book of Life. If salvation came to a man just because he was the son of Abraham (Luke 19:9-10), how much more will salvation come to a man because he is the son of the everlasting Father. God cannot be your Father, and you end up in hell: The children of the Father in heaven must be where their Father is in the last day. 1. It is still possible for Abraham to be a father to a man and that man end up in Hell fire (Luke 16:24-25); but, 2. It is not possible for God to be the Father of a man and that man end up in Hell fire. Now there are three personalities mentioned in the script above, according to Isaiah 63:16: and the three of them cannot be our father in heaven, for one is our father in heaven. As it is written, do not call any man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven (Matthew 23:9). God is our Father even if Abraham and Israel denies us, and even when Israel as a nation rejects the Christians from being partakers of God, God is our Father who will not deny us in Christ Jesus (Isaiah 63:16).
