WEATHER GEEK REPORT--- The first accumulating snow of the season for the Columbus Metro area is on the way. Snow will begin around 10PM tonight with 3-5 inches possible by tomorrow afternoon. This storm is showing signs of strengthening as it moves towards Ohio. The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for areas north and west of Columbus. You can expect a SLOW Monday morning commute! The attached maps are probabilities of snowfall. The first shows a 95% chance for at least 2 of snow along I-71 from Cincinnati to Columbus to Akron. The second map is the 4 probability map. Notice the chances of 4 between 60-70% which gives us the confidence to raise the snowfall accumulation forecast to between 3-5 inches. Since the snow is still 12 hours away... we will continue to fine tune the forecast and urge you to check in with us to get updates later today, tonight and tomorrow morning.
