WEEKLY PRAYER CONFESSION Heavenly Father, Thank You Father for the “Spirit of the Lord is upon me and You have anointed me.” Thank You for giving each member of the Body of Christ a measure of Your anointing. Father, it is through Your anointing that we receive Your power to serve You and fulfill Your work on earth. You have created us to proclaim Your goodness. We are “anointed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the poor” and we are no longer quiet about the good news of Jesus! We say, “Yes to Jesus!” We are anointed to “heal those that are broken hearted” due to emotional, physical, spiritual, or illegal relationships that have left the door of their souls open to darkness. We renounce all illegal soul ties that leave us fragmented in heart and spirit. We are desperate to be free of torment and we repent of unforgiveness in every area of our lives. Forgive us Lord! In the name of Jesus, we cast out and leave behind rejection, guilt, shame, and unforgiveness. We voluntarily make the decision to forgive all who have hurt us. We move ahead into the kingdom of God. We come alive in Jesus Christ. Lord, thank You for the security, identity, maturity, and value that You have established in our lives. We accept “the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.” Thank You for “giving us beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
