WELL...THATS NICE....our children are going to be taught mandarin in school. Errr....very nice especially for the teachers that are being bought in to teach it...who will need housing...did I hear that correctly??...could be useful one day I suppose. What I want to know is.....do they still teach French in the schools? And are they teaching our own GUERNSEY PATOIS to our children. Somehow I think that this mandarin is at the whim of one woman who wants to see it in the schools...someone please enlighten me, because if I had children at school I would be extremely annoyed that this is being introduced when our own language is being neglected.
