WFC raises money, donates to Breast Cancer Research World Fastpitch Connection held their two annual National Swing for a Cure softball tournaments in Myrtle Beach and Summerviille, SC in October. With the support of our teams, the events were a huge success. Monies raised from team entry fees, t-shirt and merchandise sales, gate fees, etc were donated on December 15, 2014 to the American Cancer Society. This year, WFC was able to donate $5, 000. The teams were decked out in their pink everywhere and tournament t-shirts sold out!!! We had a raffle at both events that gave away pink softballs, headbands, phitens, t-shirts and much more!! WFC is truly grateful for the continued support to raise money for such a great cause and hope that next year’s numbers continue to exceed our expectations. WFC would like to say a huge thank you to the teams, umpires, and staff that made this possible!!!
