WHAT DO YOU KNOW FATHER JOE? It was a picture of two extremes. As I was getting ready to board the airplane in Clearwater, Florida, Monday evening after my eight day retreat at 5:00 pm it was 75 degrees. As I got off the airplane that evening in Sioux Falls at 10 pm it was a wind chill of 2 degrees above zero. I must be honest I thought about not getting on that plane, calling a priest I know in Florida and ask him if he needed help at his parish until March or April. However common sense prevailed and I got on the plane and came home. The choice was easier to make being the fact that I have been very well received at all three parishes as well as Broomtree and I have felt comfortable since the day I arrived. If I havent thanked you for all you have done for me since my arrival I want to say it again. THANK YOU. I truly love being your pastor and I look forward to many delightful years together. We said in July that as we began the merging of our three parishes that we would decide on a schedule and take a look at how things are going down the line. We are now down the line over four months and it time for some feedback. In the beginning we selected three people from each parish to represent you. This group of nine will meet on December 1st at 7 pm. If you have any suggestions for schedule changes or other things we might consider please contact your parish representative and they will take you information to the meeting. Please pray for wisdom for all. Below are listed each of the representatives by parish. Blessed Teresa: Deb Beacom, Greg Finzen, and Margaret Holland St Joseph: Todd Grassel, Maggie Grassel, and Brian Coyle St Peter: Eric Fornia, Erin Hammitt, and Connie Scott
