WHAT?! Did the almighty South Bexley Neighbors Association approve of this?? Think about all of those kids who will be drawn to the playground AFTER school hours. Do you know how many houses are the vicinity of that school? Surely some sort of noise barrier has been thought about when planning this to assure that the playing and laughter of the children does not disrupt the peaceful evenings of the neighborhoods residents. Will there be a limit as to how late in the evening the playground can be used? And what about security? I hope that the school will be hiring off-duty police officers to make sure things do not get out of control. Those Montrose kids can be vicious! Also, the school district should understand that they will need to purchase additional trash receptacles for the neighboring area, within a 1/2 mile radius of the playground, due to the additional trash that will be created by these heathen children. Dont even get me started on those kids and their noisy tricycles going up and down the street at all hours of the afternoon... In my opinion, the playground should only be accessible to be used until 4:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and every third Tuesday. Outside of those hours, the school district should be required to pay a fee for students to use the playground; but no later than 6:00pm: NO EXCEPTIONS! In fact, an $80/year membership should be required for all those using the playground, at any time. I simply cannot believe that this is happening... What ridiculous idea will they come up with next? NO PAY NO PLAY! Keep Our Neighborhood Safe, Clean, Quiet ***I will be designing free t-shirts and drink koozies for interested parties who oppose this playground monstrosity.***
