WHAT IS LIVE & ORIGINALS.... Bucket Lounge is the former name for the night now known as LIVE & ORIGINAL. This activity had operated from the venue of 34a Campbell Pde, Bondi for over 7 years - but it is no longer operating from there. We have birthed our night into a new venue and on December 16th it was born again at Mr Falcons in Glebe, with the next night being December 30th. In 2015, it will be the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month. Our night consists of 3 acts of original independent performers - everything from folk to reggae to ska to spoken word. Each performer gets about 30 mins on the stage. We pass around an ice bucket after each act and the audience throws in some $$$ - be as much as they like. At the end of the night, the $$$ is divvied up between 3 acts. We’re showcasing up & coming independent artists, as well as the not so up and coming independent artist! They’re all independent artists, some have CDs & some dont. It gives the artist a chance to show case their music or spoken word, to promote their CD, as well as a platform to just get out there and start to make connections. Singers, songwriters and performers are welcome to play here and to gain some recognition and to promote/sell their CD. We support independent musicians and artists, giving them a chance to be heard, promote their CD, and have a good time. Feel free to contact us to be part of our musical community.
