WHO AM I who am i in this, that i look out at a distant star and feel the chasm measured within me by how deeply the sigh of separation sinks into my gut and yet i blink and wake up with that same star twinkling in my own eyes smiling its Light, upon the earth of my own existence who am I in this, that Jesus comes to my door and i come running with the recognition of the old friends that we are yet i am no christian who am i in all of this, that i hear the whispers of Immortality within Guatamas mind but i am no buddhist who am i in all of this, that i rise and fall in love and turn in circles as i chase Gods fragrance yet, i am not a muslim who am i in this, that the idols bring such a sweet recognition and a smile to my face while the tablas rock and roar and the red goddess dances playfully along with Her soulful ways and yet i do not wish to follow you appear to me as a million forms of paradise but i chose hell yet again you came and threatened me and i threw myself into your arms and rested there they told me to be a man and i became nothing they called me worthless and i became a King you told me money meant all and i gave everything away you revealed yourself to me and i closed my eyes and begged you play hide-and-seek with me just one more time, Please! Oh God, who am i in all of this?
