WINDOW PROJECT UPDATE For those of you who are wondering how the last Tuesday meeting went, I can tell you that if I was expecting a large number of people,then the meeting was a FLOP!! But Im happy to say that a few key people of the community showed up and my project idea, is pretty much financed and in a couple of weeks we should start working on it! More community participation wouldve been better and more encouraging, but this is how it usually goes. Many people showing enthusiasm, talking and promising to want to participate, but in reality there are always the very few who actually come up to help! Soon well have the materials and a place to work. We are looking for a community group who wants to help us with the work. (scouts, churches or any group who wants to be part of this project). Pat Mc Atee and I are working together on this window idea. Now we can count on the help from the High School, the Mayors office and other city identities. Our goal is to have every thing done by May. Maybe when the town sees what a small group has done, then more people might come forward and participate in the realization of the next idea!!
