WONDERFUL SPARK!! Love Leann I work at a discount store as a cashier in a small town. One day while at work, a woman came to my register with a bit more than a cart full of items. While I was scanning the merchandise, a young teenaged girl got in line behind the woman with a drink and a fruit popsicle. I know the girl and her family, but the woman in front of her did not, but commented that the girl looked familiar. As I got to the womans last two items she put the girls two items with hers and paid for them. The girl had tears in her eyes and I almost did, too. The girl quietly thanked the woman and quickly left the store. The woman looked at me with a confused look on her face, so I explained to the sweet lady that the girls father had died the week before and friends had sponsored a car wash to raise money for the fathers funeral and that could have been where she saw the girl at. Her father was on a heart transplant list and they could not find a donor in time. Every dollar of money that the family had was spent trying to get him to doctors and hospitals, and because of his illnesses he could not qualify for any type of insurance. The look of surprise, happiness, and gratefulness on that girls face has stuck with me ever since. I just felt the need to share this spark with you because it was more than just a drink and popsicle.
