WOODEN PENDANTS :: WEE FOLK ART weefolkart/content/shield-pendant-fit-knight weefolkart/content/bff-wooden-medallion-pendants A couple of years ago I made best friend medallions for Little Lady and her best friend. I also made sister medallions for Pixie and Fairy. weefolkart/content/bff-wooden-medallion-pendants Of course, not wanting to leave Bug out of the picture, I made a pendant for him with a knightly shield on the front and the saying Let Us Be Viewed By Our Actions on back. weefolkart/content/bff-wooden-medallion-pendants In my New Years goal to make it fast, make it simple I thought about these medallions. I had always planned to revisit this project and make a few pendants for myself. Since I dont have any imminent gift making occasions coming up in the near future, might be time to make a few things for myself! Tim and I live on a heavily treed yard and we always save branches when we need to trim the trees. So, Tim was able to cut up a stack of branch slices for me, but if you dont have access to your own branch supply or if the thought of cutting your own branch discs gives you the willies, there are many places you can actually buy the unfinished slices... even some that are already predrilled like these through Amazon: amazon/gp/product/B00HMBVUNG/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00HMBVUNG&linkCode=as2&tag=weefolkart-20&linkId=EP7SXNBUFHLPBHX5 (Note: WFA is an Amazon affiliate.) Now, I get to have some fun designing images for the pendants. I will definitely share. Also, Im thinking you could easily string these together and make some adorable garlands out of them. New projects percolating in my brain as I write :) My very favorite detoxing beverage is creative juice ;) ~Kimara~ Photos from Wee Folk Art
