Vetkoek Recipe | Magwinya Recipe Serving: 4 | Prep: 60 min | Cooking: 10 min Ingredients: Cake Flour 5 cups Instant Yeast 10g Sugar Salt 5 ml Warm Water 2.5 cups Vegetable Oil Method: 1 . Sift the flour into a bowl and add the yeast, sugar and salt. 2 . Mix it all together 3 . Pour in the warm water a little at a time, mixing as you go. 4 . Once a soft dough has formed place it on a clean surface sprinkled with some flour. 5 . Knead the dough for about 20 minutes until it has an elastic texture. 6 . Grease up a bowl with some butter, place the dough in the bowl, cover and rest for about 20 minutes until it has doubled in size. 7 . Flour up the surface again and even out the dough. 8 . Cut up the dough into equal size portions. 9 . Heat up some oil and deep fry the dough portions. 10 . Don’t overcrowd the pan as this will reduce the oils temperature. EnJoY:D
