WSB TO LAUNCH FIRST INTERNATIONAL WORLD BATTLE IN THE PHILIPPINES Get ready for the def-defying stunts, jaw-dropping flips, slick old school and new school dance moves and in-your-face swagger with the arrival of the WSB Battlegrounds World Battle. The Philippines will launch the inaugural qualification battle in April. Two exclusive qualifiers in the North (Manila, April 5, 2014) and South (Cagayan De Oro, April 13, 2014) will lead all roads to the Battlegrounds Philippines National Finals in June. Battlegrounds Philippines World Battle will showcase an array of activities including dance workshops, inspirational talks from renowned choreographers, live DJ music, talent showcase and the main event which will feature two one-on-one dance battle categories – the Mixed All Styles and the BBOY power moves. Hundreds of dancers across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao are expected to register for the WSB Battlegrounds World Battle. Registration deadline is set for March 15. The live audition for WSB urban choreography division will also coincide with the World Battle. The ultimate winner will receive 20,000 pesos worth of cash and prizes courtesy of Hoopdreamz, Eventista, Bad Boy Flava and VA Kreativ. The winners will get an opportunity to represent the Philippines in the WSB World Battle Championship on October 3-5 in Australia.
