This Wake Up Now review started with me thinking that it might be a great network marketing business to take a look at to build an additional income. Read on to see if Wake Up Now passed my tests for a top MLM. First, watch this free webinar to see why I chose Sisel over Wake Up Now. The Wake Up Now History Wake Up Now was founded in 2009 – and that year is actually the last year that I could find any financial data on the company. It lost money that year, which isn’t the end of the world, but it’s odd there’s no other data for them. They don’t even talk about how stable the company is on their website. UPDATE: I did find more information as they are publicly traded. They’ve lost money every year so far. One of the things I look for before joining a company is financial stability. Too many companies come and go, and my goal is to build once and get paid for life. I’ve had friends that have been in companies, built their income up to thousands of dollars per month only to have a check bounce before they have to figure out what to do with their life. Financial security of a company is extremely important to me, and Wake Up Now fails this test. Wake Up Now’s Products If you’re looking at Wake Up Now as a business - you should watch this free video to see why I chose Sisel instead. The product line Wake Up Now has developed is interesting. They have virtual products – which is okay, even though I prefer physical products – but I don’t know if they completely stand out has having a massive amount of value. Wake Up Now has a travel discount program that allows you to save on time-shares, condos and more. It also includes an iPhone app that tracks your mileage by GPS so you can write it off for business use. It also includes a type of cyber identity protection that at a glance seems similar to something like Lifelock. You also get a couple other perks like your choice of 3 magazines, corporate discounts at AT&T and other companies, and grocery coupons. The price for all of this is $99+ per month. I’m not saying it’s not worth that – but the chances of you getting the full value out of all of these products seems unlikely. For instance – there are plenty of places you can find travel and lodging discounts, and there are even other quality sites that have condo discounts for as little as a $99 per year membership. Identity theft protection might be $20 per month at the high-end (I think I pay $20 for both my wife and myself), and obviously 3 magazines and grocery coupons don’t have a whole lot of value. The GPS app looks like it charges $20 per month all by itself. If you need to spend $20 per month to GPS track your car mileage, that’s probably a great thing to have – but most people don’t need this at all much less need it to the tune of $20/month. Again, I tend to lean towards physical products in a network marketing company – especially health and wellness formulas that can be patented. Wake Up Now’s lineup of virtual products isn’t bad – it just doesn’t seem exciting to me for the cost. The Wake Up Now Compensation Plan It appears the Wake Up Now Compensation is a uni-level variant, which is great. There were some details I couldn’t find – like if there is compression or not – but overall it looks decent. However, you should watch this free video to see why I chose Sisel instead. With 3 $100 customers, your membership is free. There wasn’t any posted residual percentages that I found, but instead a chart that detailed what your residual override would be based on your group’s volume. I’m not sure if that means if you’re in-between levels/volume-steps that your income doesn’t go up until the next level – but that’s what it looks like to me. UPDATE: This is true, you are not paid more commissions until you reach certain levels within the company. It’s also important to note that this residual override seems to rely completely on a percentage of your group’s volume coming from a certain number of legs. I’m not sure if this just limits the residual or completely eliminates it though. Wake Up Now has an interesting perk for the very top of their compensation plan – you can earn up to 2 hours per month towards use of the company jet. Wait, they have a company jet? I might prefer they pay out a little more through their comp plan instead. One thing to add to this. At 240,000 volume (that would be 2,400 people at $100/month) – they’re quoting a residual override around $25,000 per month. Now, this sound good – that’s a lot of money, right? Well… if you had that same 2,400 people in your downline at Sisel International, you’d be earning somewhere around twice that much – at least. One of the many reasons you should consider Sisel if you’re looking for a serious long-term business. Is Wake Up Now a Scam Technically, no. It gives people legitimate products for their money, and the distributors who actually work the business can make decent money if they stay within the parameters of the comp plan – which to me seem unclear based on the available documents on their website. I will say that compared to most companies, their income disclosure give me the feeling that Wake Up Now distributors earn much less than average network marketers. Wake Up Now Recruiting Methods for Distributors Since Wake Up Now is a virtual product company, it makes sense that it’s heavily promoted online. The teams that seem to be successful are using tools like My Lead System Pro in order to train their group on internet marketing techniques and give them the tools and knowledge to generate their own online leads. Some of them obviously are not using MLSP, as they are spamming Facebook and Instagram walls with crazy make money now claims. What they need to be doing is developing relationships and building a brand that will attract people to them! Click here to see a great overview of MLSP and why I use it for my own business. My Wake Up Now Review Conclusion Every time I look at a new network marketing company, I’m reminded how good I have it at Sisel International & Sisel Kaffé. Although Wake Up Now seems to be building some momentum this year, my fears would be that the product value isn’t quite there, and that the compensation plan has enough holes in it that many distributors may find themselves not getting paid what they thought they would. This post is entirely my opinion based on what I can understand from their website. Some numbers may have changed by the time you read this, and some of my interpretations my be incorrect.
