Was looking for something to carry me over until season 5 of TWD. And was told about a mini series on the BBC called In The Flesh. (Thanks Jesse) It starts 4 years after the rising (zombie apocalypse)... society is slowly getting back to normal. But they take a different approach then pretty well any other undead related show. Some of the zombies (or Rotters as they call them in the show) were captured and underwent years of tests and slowly a company developed a drug/chemical that over time, rebuilds brain cells and brings the Rotter back to a state much like before they died.they are dead... But are able to walk the earth unharmed and no threat. So they are released back into society to live with their families again. At first I wasnt overly interested but, I watched anyways. I just finished the finale of the second season and I am pretty impressed. For being such a silly concept... they executed it quite well!! So if anyone else needs a little undead fix while waiting for TWD... I recommend it! But Ill warn you... its very character driven!! And there are a few times your heart will be crushed!! So... thats my review. :)
