Was waiting for the traffic lights to turn green when a taxi pulled up beside me, its driver indicating he wanted me to let him through. I saw no compelling need to do that as I would have had to back up into the yellow box behind me. Besides, he could have just joined the queue from behind me, so I ignored him. When the lights turned, he started honking at me to demonstrate his displeasure. I slowed down, just very slightly, and in doing so, may have forced another taxi driver, who was probably speeding, to slow down. He joined in the honking frenzy before attempting to overtake me, but I tapped the accelerator just a wee bit, so he couldnt. Unbelievable. In the space of one minute, I succeeded in irritating the hell out of two taxi drivers. And all I was trying to do was get Alex safely to McDonalds for breakfast.
