Water parade is when we conduct the drinking session together in a parade form. It is a very important process as most of the activities that we do requires us to be properly hydrated. We basically need to drink about 8L per day. Just for a visual imagination of how much 8L was, our green water bottle is about 1L. That means we need to drink up to 8 bottles per day. Is that a lot or what??? Personally I would drink until vomit most of the time. Beside the torturing process of drinking, the other unbearable process was the urgency to go pee at anywhere, anytime. I have never had the need to pee for so many times a day other than my service days. Here I would like to highlight two of my most unbearable scenarios when this will happen. First is during lesson time and second, after lights off timing. If a water parade was conducted before the lesson starts, the instructor can be sure that a lot of soldiers would visit the loo like crazy. Every 5 to 10 minutes, there would be soldiers asking permission to go toilet. Some of them would go a few times in a roll. If the lesson couldn’t finish in time, the instructor would then stop everyone from going to the loo so that he can rush his lesson. That is the time when you will see all of us would fidget and holding our lower body to control the thought of pee. Can you imagine that? And right after the lesson was over, everyone would fly out to the toilet and rush to the cubical or queuing for the urinal, but whatever it is, the feeling is really torturing. The other moment would be water parade before lights off, Oh man. Having to wake up in the middle of the night to pee for a few times is very annoying. Already very tired and sleepy from the day activities, and all we want is just a good night rest. Yet, our system have that urgent agenda because the water in us are leaking. Although we could have a turn in early, but when the morning comes, I just couldn’t convince myself I have enough rest. Thanks to the water… Having said that, the only good feeling about this whole thing is, the feeling after releasing the urgent pee reaction. We would jumped and smiled after that was done, every time we have that release. Nevertheless, the process itself is a on and on cycle. Water parade is the best. "Like", "share" or "comment" if it happens to you during NS.
