Way to go Baldwin City!!! Standing room only at city council meeting tonight! Probably over 100 people. Comments were polite but firm - NO WALMART! That is not OUR community. I teach business strategy. Look at The high cost of low prices. I moved here from western Kansas for a small town. I dont want that light & noise across the street. It wont be safe for my child to walk to school. WM lets RVs park overnight. That will hurt Peach. I came from a town of 7900pp that let a WM in. 15 years later that town has 75% vacancy in their other buildings. This is where the council can show some integrity. Stand firm against them.
