We all know the hazards of sitting for prolonged periods, and many of you are finding the ways it negatively impacts your progression as aerialists. We ask a lot of our bodies, and those sitting-related dysfunctional movement and structural patterns that irritate you in normal life (and seem to be demanded by the current social and economic structure) become even more problematic when you push yourself athletically. The good news is that the new challenges present an opportunity to motivate and change those patterns to free the power and expressive potential of your body!
