We all used the term soul mate; I think it might be more accurate to change the label to soul teacher. A soul teacher is there to create whatever challenges your soul needs to learn. A soul mate agrees to walk with you for awhile on this plane to learn and also to teach. A soul mate relationship is a spiritual bond and contract made before birth Your soul mate can trigger certain reactions in you that point the direction to what needs to be healed. We also believe that we draw to us the perfect people we need in order to learn and grow spiritually and personally and often that growth is often painful but if we can endure the quality of the relationship will become sweeter and simpler when we get over the bagggage we brought to the relationship and refrain from blame. We believe that soul mates can part when there is` no more growth and learning. The only real deal breakers are mental and physical abuse and addictions and then the real learning takes place when you free yourself from that person and respect yourself enough to take care of yourself , since you are the only one who can. Focus on what it would feel like to be with someone who is kind, considerate, humorous, fun loving, intelligent, powerful, spiritual, passionate, compassionate, motivated, generous, focused, loves animals, cares about the environment, gives back to the community etc . Now rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 and notice where you come short and then work on developing more of those quality and become whatever you want in another person. You complete you !
