We along with Auckland Pride Festival Inc are pleased to announce the second year of the NXT15 – LGBTIQ Youth Leaders Conference from February 19-21, 2015 in Auckland. The conference will bring together LGBTIQ youth from New Zealand and the Pacific Islands to connect them with advocacy networks and political leadership, and dramatically expand the capacities, leadership, will, and awareness for these youth to identify and address their shared issues and concerns. The conference provides a safe and empowering environment to learn from and become strong voices and leaders back in their home communities. The theme ‘Strength in numbers’ will focus on plenary and break-out sessions to strengthen governance and leadership at a grassroots level, and a platform to share current and future projects for leveraging opportunities.
