We are about two hours outside of Atlanta. We got a late start - TopicsExpress

We are about two hours outside of Atlanta. We got a late start mainly because I didnt get to bed until 3:00 am. We had a very busy day and I literally ran all day yesterday. If I hadnt had Crystal with me the last three days I wouldnt have made it. She took care of Jon David so I could work and get things done. And she took care of me making me stop to eat the wonderful dinner Vickie Hart brought us, love you Crystal! We didnt make our McMasters appt. I just didnt have the time to take him. So Belinda came by the house after work to bring him some balloons , cupcake and card signed by all the people that had worked with him at McMasters. What an awesome group of ladies and we will miss them a lot! However we will stay in touch and I promised to send pictures, much to Jon Davids chagrin! Jeri Curtis Shire, on of my favorite high school friends stopped by with a bag of snacks and supplies for our trip. She put a lot of thought into it and the best part was just getting to see her smiling face! Gayle Moon brought by some wonderful banana bread that I had shamelessly begged for since the last time she had made it for us! I missed seeing her, because I had a couple of errands to run. Cord Crow came over to get house/pet sitting instructions. He will be helping us out on the weekends when Dave comes to Atlanta. He is another one of my boys. He and Jon David have known each other since Jon David was 5. He is also one of the kids that every time I walked out of ICU....he was there. That meant more to me than they will ever know! Grand, Jodi and Todd were in and out helping us with various projects that we needed to get taken care of. I dont think I have seen anything that Todd cant do. If we cant figure it out. He has been so awesome about wanting to learn and help with Jon David. I have some awesome brother in laws! Mom is taking over my business stuff till I get back. She will be sending my mail and running all those last minute errands that I forgot. To all the people that fed us every week we were Home and to Marian Ray for organizing it, I hope you know how much we appreciated you. It was a HUGE blessing to us to not have to worry about that while adjusting to being home. We left the house at 10:30 this morning and its been a easy drive. Bobby and Brandon Achor are following us in my car, which is packed to the gills. I think we have everything but the kitchen sink! Thank you for all your love, support and encouragement! Much love to you all! Jacki
