We are currently expanding our membership team and are hiring a new Membership Sales Account Executive. The Account Executives are responsible for generating new business and retaining membership accounts in an active sales environment. A strong candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, consistent work ethic and a desire to be a part of an organization focused on becoming the recognized national leader in ensuring a regional pro-business environment, strengthening a regional economy, and enhancing our members’ success, growth and vitality. We provide a competitive base salary, monthly commissions and performance-based bonus plan. Responsibilities: • Sell memberships and related services to a wide range of businesses, from small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations • Develop account relationships and close sales quickly • Engage account representatives, mapping their needs to appropriate Chamber services and opportunities in order to prove tangible value of regional membership • Prospect revenue opportunities and develop a pipeline • Analyze and present monthly analytics reports We are looking for someone who: • Is interested in building upon their successful track record in sales • Has an out-going, dynamic personality • Has a “can do” attitude and loves to be challenged • Is a self-starter, able to work independently and within team construct • Is metrics-oriented, organized and has a need to win Requirements: • 2-3 years of experience selling in a sales-driven environment • Associate’s Degree or higher preferable jobs.hamptonroadschamber/sbaweb/jobs/jobs.asp?details=true&webjob_id=-122
