We are having the last Thursday informational/protest at the Statehouse in three days. The past twenty Thursdays have provided valuable contact opportunities, that we are benefitting from today. Our last Thursday, November 20th, will be a Thanksgiving of our own, We will be specifically giving thanks to the U,S Constitution, particularly the first amendment to the Bill of Rights...as well as giving thanks to the Declaration of Independence for verbalizing our rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. The first amendment is of course what gives us the right to be on the sidewalk in front of the Statehouse every week. Copies of all three will be on display thanks to William Haney. There will be at least two canopies and a table(s) with chairs for our Thanksgiving pizza dinner. Donations are coming in and CMMNJ will pick up the tab for the rest. Pizza will be delivered starting at noon, and then again every 25 or 30 minutes or so until everybody is well fed. People passing by will be invited to our table. Good photo op...no?
