We are off to hear this man tonight at the Mt. Barker Library... Sold out show. Amazing the things you can experience at your local Library, you get to hear great Authors like this one, there is going to be music, wine and supper and it is all for FREE. If you are into reading and love Libraries like I do, it is sheer heaven on a stick. I can remember back when my Brother Dud was studying for something or other and had to go into the State Library in Adelaide sometimes... I think it was Dud... anyway, he used to take me sometimes and I just fell in love with the quietness (although that aspect of libraries has changed, also, one good thing, you are allowed to eat and drink freely in them as well now) anyway, I fell in love with the books, the smell of them, reading them... he may well have been responsible for my great love of reading.... I have at least 12 books on the go at any one time. I read to suit my mood and the majority of the books I read are memoirs......... love them. Love learning about people.
