We are pleased to announce The Foothill Record, a free monthly newspaper serving the communities of Sunland-Tujunga, Shadow Hills, and Lake View Terrace. Our first issue will be available on Friday, August 8, 2014, at Summerfest! at Sunland Park. Please visit The Foothill Record booth for your free copy. The newspaper also will be available after the weekend of the festival at several area locations. The Foothill Record will feature news and analysis, human-interest stories, regular and guest columnists, community resources, and event listings, and we will publish lots of photos. We also will have an Op-Ed section that includes letters to the editor. Community members are invited to submit articles and letters for the Op-Ed section. We are also looking for good writers and reporters who can dig for stories and who won’t shy from asking questions and getting answers. Photo skills help too.
