We are raising money to help in the adoption of dozens of cats - TopicsExpress

We are raising money to help in the adoption of dozens of cats and dogs at the Decatur Animal Services Shelter before the towns mayor orders their death in a mass cull as he has threatened to do. The volunteers at the shelter need money to help with transportation, medical expenses and for other uses to assist in making adoptions happen quickly before the holidays and before Mayor Don Kyle orders their death. To date the adverse publicity that Mayor Don Kyle has brought upon the town of Decatur, Alabama through his orders to the shelter director to bring the number of pets, especially cats, down by over a hundred animals has been all that has kept these animals alive. Thanks to the local media of Decatur, the Facebook page against his actions and a change.org petition that has circled the world this cull has not happened to date. That being said we need to get dogs and cats adopted and with the city not helping, the volunteers of the shelter need funding. Please consider donating any amount, even if it is only a dollar. You can also donate by check which can be made out to: Animal Friends Humane Society - Dawson Fund Adoption Portion 3836 farmstead dr fayetteville,pa 17222 Thank you very much for your help.
