We are sure you are all aware of the ice bucket challenge that is going on at the moment to raise funds for motor neurone disease Victoria. The two of us have been nominated to do it and on behalf of the Moe Traders Association we have accepted the challenge. Either of us nor any of our families have been personally affected by this disease but we have since found out what a horrible disease this is and a lot of people know nothing about it so this has been a great thing to raise awareness and much needed funds. So, as most of you know we dont like to do things by halves so we decided we didnt just want to donate money ourselves we want to raise money to go with what we donate so it can go on the Motor Neurone Disease Victoria website as being from the Moe Traders so here is our plan.... This Wednesday the 3rd September at 2pm we will be on the bench seat on the grassed area next to the public toilet near the taxi rank in George Street. NOT ONLY will we have a bucket of iced water thrown on each of us, you also will have the opportunity to throw water on us. If you make a $5 donation you may throw a bucket on us too. We know its a nuisance but if you could spare just five minutes and $5 to pop over to help us raise funds for this great cause it would be greatly appreciated. DONT FORGET 2pm.
