We are up and moving about, getting ready for a day of visiting with our loyal customers, and those who happen upon the shop without any knowledge of who George is. George just poured himself a cup of coffee and I am working on getting dressed and going for a walk before we begin. Signings always remind me of funny and touching moments with customers. One of my favorites is the time when George picked up a piece to sign for a woman, saying would you like me to sign this? as he began writing...she literally shrieked dont write on that, its a present!!...everyone went sort of silent, I guess we were all taken aback until someone said, this is the artist...resulting in what you would expect, a lot of giggles, embarrassed chatter, teasing and warm support....we love our customers...
