We are very happy to see that 2 of the startups that pitched in Startupbootcamp HighTechXL Accelerator Open Pitch Day Athens, that took place in Orange Grove on 29th of September made it to the group of 11 that will enter the Accelerator. The teams are Respi, which is a health management system for people with Asthma, COPD and other types of chronic respiratory disease, based on the patient’s smartphone. The other team is Amen Technologies that develops a new generation nano-tube production machines. Congratulations! Startupbootcamp HightechXL is probably Europe’s best acceleration program for high tech startups. It is located in Eindhoven, a city with intensive links between research centers, large corporations and SMEs which scores very high in international rankings. At the end of the program, startups get a chance to pitch to top angel investors and venture capitalists for funding at the Investors’ Demo Day. It is encouraging for all of us in the Greek startup ecosystem that, just like last year, two Greek teams stood out among-st the international competitors and made it to the program , showing that quality and hard work always pay off even in difficult times.
