We do NOT do on the spot adoptions ever. If you are interested in any dog, you must submit an application on our website. We have NO paid employees and are strictly volunteer so things sometimes slip through the cracks no matter how hard I try. To adopt, all dogs/cats in the home must be spayed/neutered and there is no exception to this unless a veterinarian tells me it would be dangerous for the dog to be altered and then it is a case by case basis. We have one dog now who cannot undergo surgery due to a grade 5 heart murmur. We will NOT adopt him out, he will stay in his foster home forever and we will monitor that situation.
