We had Italian Greyhounds on our minds with first vaccinations, micro-chipping and health checks for 11 beautiful 6-7 week old pups on Friday. Dr Raj checked the pups weight, temperature, heart, eyes, ears, teeth and bite, reproductive organs and for evidence of any hernia (where the abdominal muscles do not close properly, mainly around the umbilicus). They were each micro-chipped using Midi-chips (only 8mm in length compared to the 11mm standard size microchips) and the pups were far happier with Dr Rajs new ear thermometer than the old school kind!
