We had a lovely day at the seaside yesterday and Monty and Maisy are still fast asleep after all the excitement (and ice cream). For those of you new to my wibbly wobbly world, I thought you might like to read this little recollection from last years seaside adventure! Apologies to those who remember... 😉 ☀️Well you shouldve seen them in the sunshine yesterday, chasing and squeaking with delight, in and out of the little ripples of the sea which they thought were HUGE waves! Then giggling with undisguised glee and scampering back up the beach to gently plop into a sparkling clear rock pool, lined with green velvet like seaweed for a leisurely mouse-paddle swim. Later a thimble and a little discarded ice-cream scoop scavenged from the beach made fabulous mouse sized sand castles, complete with a moat and a sweetie wrapper flag flying from the highest turret! It was a joy to watch two small sandy fur balls squeaking with laughter and trying to balance and dig out damp sand :o) This morning they are still asleep in my pocket and twitch every now and then as a dream wave crashes in to their warm furry little bodies...
