We had a meeting with the school yesterday in regards to a 504 plan for Julia. They do not feel her disability has a great enough effect on her at school and therefore denied her. With much thought, we decided it was in her best interest to remove her from current class and place her with different teacher. We are hoping this will be a better fit for her. Julia started running club yesterday and walked/ran 2 miles. She was pretty proud of herself!
