We had a very interesting weekend. We have had some difficulties in some areas with our kids. They came from different back grounds and different raisings. So I and Josh have really had a hard time these pasted few weeks. We also got hit with some really hard questions. Some questions I know a kid cannot come up with on their own. Kids listen to others talking and don’t really get the whole story and then it gets all messed up in their heads. I know that you can’t change the past. What is done is done. But do we have to have it brought up and thrown in our faces every time we turn around? Is this our punishment for what happened? Do we forever live with this? I know God has forgiven us but I guess people in this world will never forget and never let go. I pray that one day the world could just let the past go and move forward. Colossians 3:13 ESV / Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. So what I’m trying to say is life is too short for all this. Kids need to be left out of ground ups problems and let them be a kid. If you have a problem make sure your kids are not around to hear your conversations. And for goodness sake go to that person you have a problem and talk to them. Don’t talk behind their backs or give options to a kid so that they may pass it along for you!!!! We need to sit down and a think of our children and not of our self’s. God entrusted us to be a parent. Think before you speak. Thought for you Monday!!!!
