We had a very special day at Emma Willard School today as we welcomed Senator Kirsten Gillibrand ’84 back to campus! She talked with us about her new book “Off the Sidelines” and held an extensive Q&A session our community. In true Emma Girl fashion, our girls asked some hard-hitting questions on topics ranging from overcoming bias in the workplace, the one piece of advice she’s received that she’d give to others, how to keep going when you encounter a setback, and how she discovered her true self. We are so grateful to have gotten to spend the afternoon with her and hear her perspective. Thank you, Senator!
