We had another great cruise season in 2013. We made some new - TopicsExpress

We had another great cruise season in 2013. We made some new friends, had a great time hanging out with fellow cruisers and raised money for a couple of great causes. On September 24th we held a cruise at Split Rock in honor of fellow cruiser Joe Budahazy who passed away suddenly . That night we raised over $400.00 for the Joe Budahazy Scolarship Fund at Shelton High School which was set up by Joe’s family. We thank eveyone who came out to support this event. Throughout the 2013 season we really got to know the Budahazy family. They are wonderful people and we have decided to make this cruise an annual event and look for it next season. On September 22nd we supported the Arthur C. Luf Burn Camp Car Show at Enterprise Towers in Shelton. Although the weather didn’t cooperate that morning, the day turned out beautiful and we had over 125 cars participate. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the event we raised $3,200.00, the day of the show, all of which went directly to the Burn Camp. Through the efforts of Ross Jenacaro who lead the 2013 Car Show & Bike Ride fund raising efforts for the camp, a total of over $21,000 was raised this year! We have also gotten to know the wonderful group of people who work for the Arthur C. Luf Burn Foundation and look forward to supporting next year’s car show. And of course we had our cruiser appreciation final cruise of the season which was held on October 7th at Split Rock. This is our way of giving back to everyone who supports us all season long. We had great weather, a great turnout and a really good time. The only way we were able to make these events sucessful is because we have great friends who come out to support our events. The Round Town Cruisers are truly greatful to each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you all in the 2014 cruise season.
