We have been challenged in the #ALSICEBUCKETCHALLENGE and we accept. This challenge was created in an effort to raise awareness of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. In addition to getting wet, we will also be donating to ALSA, and encourage you to do the same. You can learn more about ALS and donate online at ALSA.org. Keeping with the spirit of the challenge, we would like to nominate six people. Randy Ramero, Anne Thompson, and Diana Plazas from DoubleTree by Hilton, Kip Stehling (the General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Libertyville - Mundelein), David Parulo with the Meet Chicago Northwest and Jon Ridler with the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce. You each have 24 hours to complete the challenge. Those who refuse to take the challenge are asked to make a $100 donation to the ALS charity of their choice. The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - Arlington Heights is happy to be part of this effort to raise awareness for ALS while also making a donation toward the cause!
