We have been preventing Mike Hildreth from proclaiming to the churches in this country his error on Holy Spirit baptism. The Bible teaches that Holy Spirit baptism had been promised to the apostles (Acts 1:5). Mike and his cohorts have never included in that promise. Jesus never talked to them personally. That promise of Holy Spirit baptism was for the apostles of the first century. Jesus told the apostles to wait in the city of Jerusalem for the Spirits coming and they did. Where did Mike Hildreth and his cohorts wait for the coming of the Spirit? California? Urdaneta, Pangasinan? Lepanto Mines? Binalonan, Pangasinan? Baguio City? Vigan or Candon, Ilocos Sur? They waited in the wrong places! The apostles received power as was promised them. The rushing of winds that filled the house where they were sitting signified the Spirits coming on them. The cloven tongues as of fire that sat on the head of each of one them signified that the Spirit really was in them, filling them. Their speaking in tongues, preaching and proclaiming the wonders of God signified that they were inspired and directed to proclaim the revealed truth. Mike Hildreth and his cohorts never had any of the above signs. No rushing of winds (except perhaps the rushing of fan blades in the room where they studied their error). No cloven tongues like fire sat on each of them. No Spirit inspired them to speak in tongues. Their Pentecostal experience left much to be desired. Now they are coming out saying that they indeed received the Holy Spirit baptism, WALA NGA LANG MILAGRONG NANGYARI! Lokohin nyo yong taong kabababa lang ng barko! We have been preventing him and his cohorts from proclaiming this error because it divides the brotherhood in this country. Kami pa ngayon ang pinagbibintangang nagdi-divide ng iglesia! Lokohin mo yong taong kabababa lang ng niyog! Mike Hildreths doctrine has been causing division in the churches in America. Sad to say that many Filipino Christians have sashayed toward him, queued the line toward his door in the hope of benefiting from his pork. The doctrine of Mike Hildreth leaves much to be desired. He does not know much Greek, and therefore you will expect him to commit lexical blunders. He does not have any sense about Greek grammar especially the knowledge of syntax. And yet many preachers have put their faith on the line by swallowing Mikes doctrine-- a doctrine born in ignorance and promoted in ignorance. If the blind leads the blind, both will fall into the pit. If the ignoramus leads the non-knowledgeable, what will happen? Your answer is as good as mine. We are not going to keep quiet about this.
