We have had some questions about the Nut Blend formula from Zupreem, so contacted them. If you note a difference in smell and shape, here is the response I received, which hopefully answers any questions you may have. Dear Joanne, Thank you for contacting ZuPreem. ZuPreem FruitBlend, NutBlend and VeggieBlend now have a natural flavoring rather than the former artificial flavoring, which is why the nut aroma is not as strong as before. Over the last several years, we have been challenged by our consumers to make our food with more natural ingredients so we have tried to listen to their wishes. This is why the change was made and unfortunately natural aromas are just not as strong as artificial ones. We feel that this is a positive change for our bird families, but we understand your customer’s frustration. Thank you for your time, and please let me know if you have any additional questions.
