We have our first water melon that has grown past the early stages so now sits proudly - for us any way - in a mini hammock. We like to treat all our plants with care so this may be going one step further. Our garden work is getting better known and the team have been out today digging over a veg patch and couple of deep beds - how do weeds grow so quickly. Given lots of seeds and colleting more along the way for next year. All donations of seeds most welcome - please send to Assington with a note of what they are. We do have a mystery pot into which those without names go to create some interesting plantings. Thank you to the person who sent the bird seed...most interesting plants from that! Well there we are for another day at the tunnel...more students on the horizon and hens laying ever larger eggs.
